ABOUT
I’m Amélie-Rose, a live event illustrator, a neuroscientist, and above all, an observer of people.
Behind every illustration lies the same curiosity: understanding what gives people, places and objects their unique visual character to reveal their beauty through handcrafted artwork.
Alongside my lifelong artistic journey, I spent over a decade studying Biology, culminating in earning a PhD in Neurobiology. My scientific background taught me to observe with precision, question every detail and look beyond the obvious.
Today, that same way of seeing the world shapes every illustration I create. From live event experiences to bespoke commercial commissions for luxury and premium brands, my work is always guided by a desire to celebrate craftsmanship, beauty and meaningful human connection.
The Art of Observation

Observation has always been at the heart of the way I create.
Whether I’m studying the way light catches a perfume bottle, the movement of a silk dress or the expression on someone’s face, I believe every subject possesses a unique visual language waiting to be revealed.
My role as an illustrator is not simply to reproduce what I see, but to notice what others might overlook and transform it into meaningful artwork.
Looking Beneath the Surface
I love understanding what lies beneath beauty
When I admire a high jewellery piece, I don’t only see its beauty.
I find myself wondering about its geological origins, crystalline structure and the way light travels through it to create such captivating reflections. Understanding why something is beautiful has always fascinated me as much as beauty itself.
Observation fascinates me more than mystery
I’ve watched series like Poirot, Miss Marple and Monk countless times.
Not only because of the mystery itself, but because they celebrate careful observation: how one seemingly insignificant detail can completely transform the perception of the story.
Nature is an endless lesson in observation
Watching birds is one of my favourite ways to slow down and feel the life around me.
I love learning their Latin names, but even more, observing their behaviour and imagining what drives each movement, whether they’re defending a territory, searching for food or simply adapting to their environment. commercial
My soundtrack surprises people
People are often surprised to learn that I love listening to metal and hard rock bands.
Beyond their energy, I’m fascinated by the way these songs explore resilience, vulnerability and the complexity of being human. That emotional intensity often fuels my creative process.

Two Ways of Seeing the world
Although I first chose to pursue science, it never replaced art. Instead, it nurtured my curiosity and gave it a method.
Four years spent in fundamental research refined the way I observe the world. They taught me to slow down, question assumptions and look for the invisible mechanisms behind what I see.
Science taught me discipline, patience and how to understand the world. Art taught me how to share that understanding with others.
Today, I create with that same curiosity, looking beyond appearances to reveal the details, harmony and emotion that give each subject its unique visual character.
Today, science and art no longer exist as separate worlds. They naturally come together in every piece I create.

I’m endlessly inspired by craftsmanship, Nature and people.
Not simply for their beauty, but for the invisible stories, structures and emotions they reveal to those who take the time to truly observe.
