What’s included:
The Illustration style:
- Hand-drawn watercolor guest’s portraits and looks created live during your cocktail reception
- Bespoke Watercolor bridal artwork of the bride and groom during their ceremony. (Optionally framed on the spot for a ready-to-display keepsake when you get home)
- My presence is fully tailored to your schedule: from 2,5 hours to 8 hours, depending on how many guests you wish to be illustrated.
- Your guests can choose to pose for me (only 2 minutes) or get their picture taken to enjoy the reception and collect their portrait later.
- Finished portraits will be displayed on my table for your guests to collect as the day/reception unfolds
Materials, Set-up & Customization:
- Artist-grade A5 paper (14,8 x 21cm) for guest illustrations and
- Artist-grade A4 paper (21 x 29,7 cm cm) for the bridal artwork,
- High-quality frame if you want me to frame your couple’s illustration on the spot so it’s ready for your home
- Personalized details: names, wedding date, color palette, and optional embellishments such as real flowers or stickers
- I only need one table, at least 2 chairs (one for me and one for your guests) and one access to good lighting or electricity.
My illustration Pace :
- Approximately 1 guest per 5 minutes (portrait or look).
- Approximately 1 couple per 10 minutes (portrait or look).
- About 10 guests per hour; 30 guests in 3 hours
- About 5 couples per hour; 15 couples in 3hours
- Guests choose how they want to be protrayed (portrait or their look)

I’m not here to mass-produce sketches just to tick boxes or give everyone a souvenir.
Every illustration is hand-drawn with care, capturing the genuine expressions and personalities of your loved ones. It’s a curated live illustration experience, designed as a way to connect with those you hold dear. My work is created with heart and attention, just as you have carefully crafted your wedding day.

What is the average time required for each illustration?
Each illustration takes approximately 5 minutes per guest. My approach is fluid and expressive, allowing me to capture personality and likeness quickly, while maintaining a refined artistic quality.
How many guests can be featured within a single artwork?
Guests may be illustrated individually or as couples. I typically draw two guests per artwork for couples. Larger group illustrations like families of 4 or 5 can be discussed in advance, depending on your vision and timing.
Do guests need to remain seated while their illustration is created?
Not necessarily. Guests are welcome to briefly greet me and choose their preferred style (portrait or full look). They can sit and pose for 2 minutes or I can photograph them so they are free to continue enjoying the reception while I complete the illustration.
Are you available for weddings and events outside of Paris and Lyon ?
Yes, I am delighted to travel throughout France and internationally. Travel and accommodation fees are simply integrated into your bespoke proposal (according to your location venue).
Will guests leave with their illustration on the day?
Yes. Each guest receives their illustrated keepsake to take home. The bridal artwork is also created live from a picture I will take of you and can be framed on the day, ready to be displayed in your home (you only need to confirm if you want it framed or not)
How many guests can be illustrated during a reception?
On average, I illustrate around 10 guests per hour. For example, during a 3 hour reception, approximately 30 guests can be drawn. The exact number depends on whether guests choose individual portraits or couple illustrations. For example, I can draw 15 couples in 3 hours.
What is the investment for a live illustration experience?
My live drawing experiences begin at €1,200 (excluding VAT). As every wedding is unique, your proposal is fully tailored based on the duration of my presence, the number of guests you wish to have illustrated and the location of your celebration.

Professional award-winning artist and former scientist
Hello, I’m Amélie-Rose, a French artist living between Lyon and Paris. I specialise in live sketching for weddings and high-end brand’s exclusive events across France.
Drawing has always been my language of joy. From an early age, it brought light, connection, and positive energy everywhere I went.
I was academically trained as a scientist, earning a PhD in Neuroscience in Paris in 2023. However, I realised that research did not ignite me in the same way that painting and illustration did.
Art was never simply a hobby: it was where I felt most alive.
In 2025, I took a leap of faith and began my professional journey as an artist. Since then, I’ve experienced those surreal, “pinch me” moments: from being listed in the top 100 best Fashion illustrators worldwide, winning a prize in an international contest and illustrating live for renowned brands such as Tarte Cosmetics and Maison Ladurée on the Champs-Élysées.
It was while attending a dear friend’s ceremony at the Cathedral of Metz that I was profoundly moved by the raw emotion of that sacred moment. The moment felt infinitely precious. I realised then that I had the ability to preserve this fleeting beauty, to transform emotion into something enduring.
Today, I accompany couples in turning those precious instants into a live artistic experience that transforms the atmosphere and connections into keepsakes to cherish for a lifetime.
My creative journey blends science, fine art, painting, and illustration. This unique path allows me to observe deeply and translate emotions with sensitivity and precision, creating artwork that feels both refined and alive.
